A's 2026 schedule includes homestand in Las Vegas

Before the Athletics make their grand Las Vegas arrival in a few years, the city will get an up close preview of its future team.

Among the highlights of the A’s 2026 schedule release on Tuesday was the reveal of a special homestand that will take place from June 8-14 at Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Las Vegas Aviators, the club’s Triple-A affiliate.

The A’s will host the Brewers in Las Vegas for three games (June 8-10), followed by three games against the Rockies (June 12-14).

Las Vegas Ballpark, located in Downtown Summerlin, sits about 13 miles west of the site where construction is underway for the A’s new ballpark on the Las Vegas strip, which is scheduled for completion in time for the start of the 2028 season.

“We get an opportunity to take this ballclub to our future home to showcase a regular-season game,” A’s manager Mark Kotsay said. “I think that’s just going to help get the community in Vegas excited, and it’s going to help us when we get there in 2028. We’re excited to go in and play in front of what will be our home crowds, create that excitement and get them familiar with names like Nick Kurtz, Brent Rooker, Tyler Soderstrom and Shea Langeliers.”

This will not be the first time the A’s play regular-season games in Southern Nevada. In 1996, the A’s played their first six home games at Cashman Field in Las Vegas due to renovations that were taking place at the Oakland Coliseum.

The A’s open the 2026 season against the Blue Jays in Toronto on Thursday, March 26, before returning to West Sacramento for their home opener against the Astros on Friday, April 3, at Sutter Health Park. The A’s will also play all potential home postseason games in West Sacramento.

Other highlights from the 2026 home schedule include matchups against the Giants (May 15-17), Yankees (May 29-31), Dodgers (June 29-July 1) and Red Sox (July 27-30).

Fans in West Sacramento will be treated to six super-sized fireworks shows in 2026. Weekly theme nights will also make their debut, including:
