#ASGWorthy Jones hammers historic HR

BALTIMORE -- Orioles center fielder Adam Jones is the new home run leader at Camden Yards.
In a 14-7 loss to the Twins on Monday night, Jones' two-out, three-run homer off Kyle Gibson capped a five-run second inning and gave the Orioles a 5-0 lead, solidifying the outfielder's spot up top.

Jones, who tied Rafael Palmeiro with Sunday's home run, hit No. 125 on the first pitch, scoring J.J. Hardy and Seth Smith with the left-center-field homer.
"I've said a few times, after the season or after my career is over, I'll probably get a good perspective on the accomplishments that I've had during my career, but I just go every day, one day at a time," Jones said. "I know it's so cliché, but that's really what I do. I just try and win for that day, and let today be for today and tomorrow be for tomorrow."
The 31-year-old Jones sent his eighth homer an estimated 381 feet with an exit velocity of 105 mph, according to Statcast™. He also has 21 RBIs.
Jones entered Monday's game ranked second in the Majors with a .435 batting average with runners in scoring position and is on his way to having a career year in walks.
