KANSAS CITY -- Sure, Evan Gattis' sixth-inning grand slam ruled the day, but Alex Bregman and Carlos Correa got the fun started in the Astros' 7-3 win over the Royals on Friday night with some long ball of their own.
Bregman and Correa both hit solo homers in the fourth inning against Royals starter Jakob Junis, tying the game at 2 to answer a Mike Moustakas two-run double in the third. Gattis hit a grand slam in the sixth to put the Astros ahead, 6-3.

Bregman's ninth jack of the season traveled a projected 368 feet down the left-field line, and Correa hit a mammoth 455-foot blast to left that was 112.8-mph off the bat, according to Statcast™.
"I knew it was a ball down the line and I tried to get inside it," Bregman said. "I caught it right."

The homer by Correa was the second-hardest hit of his career, trailing only a 113.5-mph jack on April 6, 2016. It was also his fifth-longest homer. The hit by Bregman extended his on-base streak to 26 consecutive games.
The Astros have hit 18 home runs during their nine-game winning streak.
