It was Minnesota Wild night at Target Field on Thursday, and one player decided to show off his skills with the stick.

From a left-handed crouch, Wild defenseman Alex Goligoski slapped the first pitch of the Royals-Twins game to Twins reliever Jovani Moran.

And no, Goligoski won't be ending up on any "worst first pitches ever" lists. Quite the opposite.

The Minnesota native "shot" the pitch right down the heart of the plate, for what was perhaps the best first pitch Twins fans have seen all year.
