Shelton (White Sox), Bragg (Orioles) secure top Week 4 honors in AFL
The temperatures may have gotten cooler to open the second half of this year's Arizona Fall League campaign but the performances were still scorching.
Two players emerged at the top of the league in Week 4: Colby Shelton and Braxton Bragg. The duo was named the AFL's Hitter and Pitcher of the Week respectively on Monday.
Hitter of the Week: Colby Shelton, INF, Glendale (CWS)
Shelton led the league with 12 RBIs and a .462 average (6-for-13). The White Sox No. 23 prospect became the first player since at least 2005 to record four RBIs in three consecutive games in the Fall League and amassed the most RBIs in a single week of any player during this year's campaign.
In Week 4, Shelton ranked second in home runs (two), extra-base hits (four), slugging percentage (1.077) and OPS (1.640). The 2025 sixth-rounder stood third in total bases (14) and on-base percentage (.563) for the week.
The Florida product closed out the week with a grand slam, the second of his professional career. Across 15 games this season, the left-handed-hitting infielder has compiled a slash line of .277/.379/.511 for the Desert Dogs.

Pitcher of the Week: Braxton Bragg, RHP, Peoria (BAL)
Bragg twirled four scoreless innings Saturday in Peoria. The Orioles' No. 22 prospect earned his first win of the Fall League season, allowing five hits and one walk while striking out three. He was the lone pitcher on the circuit in Week 4 to post a semi-lengthy outing without giving up a run.
The right-hander threw 41 of 56 pitches for strikes, a 73.2 percent strike rate. Across 13 innings this season, Bragg has posted a 1-0 record with a 2.77 ERA, nine strikeouts, a 1.00 WHIP and a .229 average-against.
A 2023 eighth-rounder, Bragg missed the 2026 Minor League season while recovering from Tommy John surgery. The 26-year-old righty -- who played at Dallas Baptist -- last appeared in an affiliated game in June 2025.
