The Dodgers handed the ball to setup man Brandon Morrow after Clayton Kershaw pitched seven innings of one-run ball and recorded 11 strikeouts. Kershaw also tossed 83 pitches (57 for strikes) and only allowed three hits. Morrow made Kenley Jansen's night easier. 9:49 p.m. ET: Need a lift? Dodgers turn to Turner
Justin Turner won the battle of the beards, launching a two-out, two-run homer off Dallas Keuchel to give the Dodgers a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth. Turner, the co-NLCS MVP, has four home runs and 12 RBIs this October. The blast traveled a projected 371 feet and had a 37-degree launch angle, Turner's third highest on a homer this year, according to Statcast™.

9:35 p.m. ET: Kershaw racking up K's
Clayton Kershaw added to his illustrious career in the sixth inning, notching his 10th and a 11th strikeouts of the night to become the first Dodgers pitcher to have double-digit strikeouts in a World Series game since Sandy Koufax fanned 10 in Game 7 of the 1965 Fall Classic. Kershaw also became the first pitcher to have double-digit strikeouts in a World Series game since Adam Wainwright struck out 10 in Game 5 of the 2013 World Series.

9:01 p.m. ET: Astros answer on Bregman's blast
Alex Bregman got the Astros on the board with his leadoff homer in the fourth inning off Clayton Kershaw. The former No. 2 overall pick homered twice off Boston ace Chris Sale and now added a home run against a three-time Cy Young Award winner. Kershaw responded to strike out the side and had eight strikeouts through four innings.
