Bid for a behind-the-scenes look with the A's

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- "A's Intern for a Day" and "Spend an Inning in the Broadcast Booth" are among the unique baseball experiences being offered by the A's as part of the annual Winter Meetings charity auction this week.
The auction initiative has raised more than $900,000 since its inception five years ago, with proceeds going to a special cause close to the game. This year, Major League Baseball, MLB Advanced Media, MLB Network and all 30 clubs are teaming up to support the Katherine Feeney Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is in memory of the late pioneering baseball executive whose career spanned 40 years.
The A's also have an "Alumni Meet and Greet During Reunion Weekend" up for auction. The A's are planning several reunion weekends next season as they celebrate their 50th anniversary in Oakland, and the winning bidder will meet A's alumni prior to a game.
As an "A's Intern for a Day," the winning bidder will have the opportunity to have a behind-the-scenes look at a game day by shadowing A's front-office members. The intern will also receive four tickets to that night's game.
"Spend an Inning in the Broadcast Booth" also comes with four tickets.
All items up for grabs can be found at MLB.com/wintermeetingsauction.
