Sergio's Go will be available at Section 208 on the Legends Level, beginning June 5
MIAMI - The Miami Marlins are bringing another iconic South Florida flavor to loanDepot park with
the addition of Sergio's Go to the club's growing Local Legends program. Beginning Friday, June
5, fans can enjoy a curated menu from the beloved Cuban restaurant concept at Section 208 on the
Legends Level for the remainder of the 2026 season.
Founded in Miami in 1975, Sergio's has become one of South Florida's most beloved Cuban
restaurant brands, serving generations of guests through its signature blend of authentic family
recipes, Cuban comfort food, and modern fast-casual dining. Now operating 14 locations across
South Florida, including six Sergio's Go concepts, the brand has built a loyal following with favorites
like croquetas, pan con bistec, pan con lechon, and its Frita Burger, all rooted in its "Simple, Fresh
& Homemade" philosophy.
The addition of Sergio's Go continues the Marlins' commitment to celebrating the diverse flavors
and culinary traditions that define South Florida. As part of the club's Local Legends platform, which
was introduced to give fans a taste of some of the most iconic restaurants in South Florida, Sergio's
Go joins a growing lineup of homegrown favorites at loanDepot park, including SuViche and Los
Verdes, creating a ballpark experience that reflects the culture and communities that make the
region so special.
"The Local Legends program is about creating an authentic taste of South Florida at loanDepot
park, and Sergio's is a brand that generations of fans instantly recognize," said Anthony Favata,
Miami Marlins Senior Vice President of Operations and Events. "From iconic Cuban sandwiches and
croquetas to the family traditions behind the brand, Sergio's represents the energy, culture, and
flavors that make South Florida unique. We're excited to continue expanding the Local Legends
lineup with a concept that feels deeply connected to our community."
Fans visiting Section 208 can enjoy a menu featuring beef, chicken, and spinach empanadas,
alongside classic Cuban snacks including ham croquetas and cheese tequeños. The sandwich lineup
includes fan favorites such as pan con bistec, media noche, croqueta preparada, pan con lechón,
Cuban sandwich, and the signature Frita Burger. Guests can also build rice bowls featuring white
rice, black beans, sweet plantains, and greens, paired with roasted pork or ropa vieja.
"Baseball and Cuban food are two of the things Miami loves most, and bringing them together at
loanDepot park is a dream for a family business that my grandmother and mother started 50 years
ago," said Carlos Gzitua, CEO of Sergio's Restaurants.
The Local Legends program is a season-long initiative designed to spotlight beloved local
restaurants and culinary concepts throughout loanDepot park, further enhancing the fan experience
with recognizable brands and foodie favorites.
