SEATTLE -- Adrián Beltré set a new Rangers record when he scored on Jonathan Lucroy's two-run home run in the fifth inning of a 10-7 win over the Mariners on Tuesday night.
Beltre has now scored a run in 12 straight games, breaking the record of 11 set by Michael Young in 2005 and Ian Kinsler in '08. It is the longest such streak in the Majors this season.
Beltre, with the score tied, 4-4, reached base on a double off the left-center field wall against Mariners starter James Paxton. It was his 585th career double, tying him with Rafael Palmeiro for 19th all-time.
