Blue Jays announce promotions for 50th anniversary season

As Toronto Blue Jays fans prepare to welcome home their American League Champions for the 2026 season, the club today announces a record-breaking lineup of promotions and events. Honouring the Blue Jays 50th season and AL Championship, the 2026 Promotions & Events Schedule features 74 exciting giveaways, theme days, and Specialty Tickets, including new player bobbleheads, replicas of classic Blue Jays jerseys, retro collectables, and returning fan-favourite events. More than 90 per cent of all home games include a promotion or theme day – more than ever before!

The excitement begins on Opening Night presented by TD on Friday, March 27 (7:07 p.m. first pitch). A special pre-game ceremony will honour the AL Champions, and all fans will receive a Blue Jays AL Champions Pennant on entry plus a Blue Jays Magnet Schedule on exit.

For all other promotions, giveaways are available to the first 15,000 fans (Specialty Tickets excluded).

Ballpark Theme Days

With beloved favourites and new events on deck, fans of all ages have plenty to get excited about.

Two Saturdays in May mark the return of fan favourite theme days at Rogers Centre. On May 9, step into a world of pink-and-blue as Barbie Game Day makes its comeback, featuring a Blue Jays Barbie Reversible Bucket Hat giveaway. On May 23, it’s time to swap pitches for bowls as Cricket Day at the Park presented by TD returns for its fourth straight year, featuring a Blue Jays Cricket Sweater Vest giveaway.

Summer vibes will be high at Rogers Centre with the return of two iconic events on the calendar. Pride Night presented by TD is back on June 5, featuring a City Connect Pride Hat giveaway. On July 1, the season heats up with Canada Day, complete with a Bieber (Shane, not Justin) Red Cut-off Replica Jersey giveaway – boasting a sweet retro look!

On August 1, the robots in disguise arrive at the ballpark for Blue Jays Transformers Day, featuring a Blue Jays Transformers Hat giveaway. There’s more than meets the eye for this event; following the action on the field, fans can look forward to a special postgame screening of The Transformers: The Movie, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary. On September 12, it’s all about friendship and kindness for the inaugural Hello Kitty Day, where fans can enjoy themed activities around the ballpark and score a Hello Kitty Bobblehead giveaway.

Returning Fan-Favourite Promotions

Jr. Jays Sundays – now proudly presented by Ontario Honda Dealers – returns for another exciting season of family fun, starting on March 29 with Jr. Jays Opening Day. The first Jr. Jays outdoor program begins on June 7 and runs until August 30. Later this month, parents and guardians can register their kids 14 and under to Jr. Jays Club for exclusive benefits, activities, experiences, discounts, and prizes. Stay tuned for more information.

Last season, Blue Jays fans went all-in on Loonie Dogs Night presented by Schneiders, eating a record-breaking 826,308 dollar dogs. There are 12 Loonie Dogs Nights slated for 2026, including a special $0.77 hot dog night on April 7 to celebrate the first-ever Blue Jays game on April 7, 1977.
