Blue Jays-Sox game, Papi ceremony delayed

BOSTON -- The Red Sox and Blue Jays expect to play baseball on Friday at Fenway Park, but the game originally scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET will start in a delay due to steady rain. The Red Sox announced a new start time of 7:35.
The ceremony to honor David Ortiz -- the first of three this weekend at Fenway Park -- will also start late.
The Red Sox have already clinched the American League East, but they are still battling it out for seeding. The Blue Jays and Orioles entered the night with identical records at the top of the AL Wild Card standings, but the Tigers lurk just 1 1/2 games back with Seattle two games behind.
