Report: Osuna loses arb case vs. Blue Jays

Roberto Osuna has reportedly lost his arbitration case with the Blue Jays, and he will earn Toronto's proposed offer of $5.3 million against his requested $5.8 million, according to USA Today. The club has not commented.
Osuna, who turns 23 on Wednesday, entered his first year of arbitration eligibility with three full seasons as a closer under his belt.
Zach Britton holds the record amount handed out to a closer in his first year of arbitration eligibility at $6.75 million in 2016. Comparatively, Britton entered that year with 73 saves, while Osuna currently has 95.
The right-handed Osuna capped the 2017 season with a 3.38 ERA, 39 saves and 83 strikeouts in 64 innings.
