Bo Bichette will make his return to Toronto on Monday.
Bichette, who signed a three-year, $126 million deal with the Mets over the offseason, will play his first game in Toronto on Monday since Game 7 of the 2025 World Series. In his first season with the Mets, Bichette has a .254/.298/.389 slash line with 10 home runs through his first 83 games entering play on Sunday.
Selected in the second round of the 2016 Draft by the Blue Jays, Bichette spent his first seven MLB seasons with Toronto. After debuting with the Jays in 2019, Bichette would go on to post a .294/.337/.469 slash line with 111 home runs in 748 games with Toronto. Bichette was a two-time All-Star (2021 and ‘23) and had a pivotal three-run homer in the World Series finale last season against the Dodgers.

Bichette struggled out of the gate to begin his Mets tenure, but the 28-year-old has turned things around this month. Entering Sunday, Bichette had a .943 OPS and five home runs across 24 games in June.
