Nimmo says no no! Rangers' RF goes full extension on incredible HR robbery

CHICAGO -- Brandon Nimmo landed at the warning track Monday night at Rate Field, dropping to a knee before emphatically pumping his fist as he ran off the field.
The Rangers' right fielder had just sucked the air out of the South Side crowd, robbing Andrew Benintendi of a game-tying, two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning.
Rangers starting pitcher Kumar Rocker left a 1-0 sinker over the heart of the plate, which Benintendi hit at 96.4 mph, per Statcast. The ball went a projected 353 feet, and would have been a homer in eight ballparks.
Nimmo, who has -3 outs above average and -4 defensive runs saved, made the catch of his life to prevent Benintendi's 14th home run of the season.
