Tuesday's best: Lutz stays hot with two-homer effort for Helena

Tristen Lutz's professional debut is off to a fast start and he continued to impress on Tuesday, hitting a pair of homers for Rookie-level Helena in a 13-9 loss to Orem.
Lutz, whom the Brewers selected with the 34th overall pick in the 2017 Draft, began his career in the AZL where he hit .297 through 15 games before he was bumped up to Helena. Now in the Pioneer league, the 18-year-old has continued to rake by batting .417 through six games.
The Brewers' No. 8 prospect, who finished 3-for-4, hit a solo homer in the third and then showed off his 55-grade power with a 440-foot blast in the sixth.

The three-hit performance was just the latest in a string of strong games for Lutz, who has already put together 10 multi-hit efforts through the first 20 games of his career. Lutz has also hit six home runs and has a pair of two-homer games.
Other top prospect performances from Tuesday's action:
• No. 7 overall prospect Eloy Jiménez (White Sox No. 2) hit his 14th homer of the season in another multi-hit effort for Class A Advanced Winston-Salem. Jimenez, who hit a solo homer in the third inning, has two or more hits in three of his past four games and finished the night 3-for-5
• No. 11 overall prospect Nick Senzel (Reds' No. 1) put up a big game in Game 1 of Double-A Pensacola's doubleheader against Tennessee. Senzel extended his hitting streak to seven games (it would end in Game 2) as he went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
• No. 14 overall prospect Brent Honeywell (Rays' No. 1) lowered his ERA to 3.74 with another strong start for Triple-A Durham. Honeywell, who has given up one earned run or fewer in five of his past six starts, threw 58 of his 90 pitches for strikes across 5 2/3 scoreless innings. The right-hander walked one, gave up six hits and notched six strikeouts.
• No. 23 overall prospect Brendan McKay (Rays' No. 3) hit his second homer in as many games for Class A Short-Season Hudson Valley. After hitting a three-run blast in the ninth on Monday, McKay added a solo shot in the eighth on Tueday. The first-round pick finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

• Indians No. 3 prospect Bobby Bradley hit his 19th homer of the season in Double-A Akron's win over New Hampshire. Bradley, who finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs, hit a solo shot in the sixth for his first homer of the month.

• Nationals No. 5 prospect Seth Romero was unhittable in his debut with Class A Short-Season Auburn. Romero, the Nationals' first-round pick, struck out five and walked one over three scoreless innings and has thrown five no-hit innings, across two levels, to begin his professional career.
"I was pretty happy with it," Romero told MiLB.com. "I did pretty good, so there is nothing to be angry about. I felt really good, so everything went as planned. I was happy with it. … I did feel like I was in a rhythm."
• Tigers No. 8 prospectIsaac Paredes hit a pair of homers in another big game for Class A West Michigan. Paredes, who has a career-high 11 homers this season, has gone deep three times in the past two days and is slashing .405/.488/.757 in 10 games since he was traded from the Cubs.
• Astros No. 9 prospect Daz Cameron extended his hitting streak to eight games with a perfect night at the plate for Class A Quad Cities. Cameron did it all in a 5-0 win over Beloit as he went 4-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs and a stolen base.

• Athletics No. 15 prospect Sheldon Neuse hit his 14th and 15th homers in Class A Advanced Stockton's win over San Jose. Neuse already has a pair of two-homer games since he was traded from the Nationals on July 16 and is batting .397 through 18 games with his new organization. The 22-year-old finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs.
• Pirates No. 21 prospectJordan Luplow hit his 22nd homer of the season in Triple-A Indianapolis' win over Buffalo. Luplow, who finished 2-for-3, drove in two runs with a base hit in the fourth and then hit a solo homer in the seventh.

• Braves No. 22 prospect Bryse Wilson put together his second straight scoreless start as he fired seven innings for Class A Rome. Wilson, who threw 60 of his 91 pitches for strikes, also set a career high with 11 strikeouts while walking one and giving up four hits. The 19-year-old struck out the side in the fifth and had at least one strikeout in six of his seven innings.
"That's my first back-to-back scoreless [starts]," Wilson told MiLB.com. "I think it was just one of those nights. I was able to locate really well. I was able to locate my fastball really well, even got a couple of strikeouts looking with the fastball."
• D-backs No. 28 prospect Mack Lemieux fired seven innings of one-run ball for Class A Kane County. The 20-year-old has given up one earned run in five of his past six starts and has a 4.64 ERA through 15 starts with the Cougars. Lemieux threw 58 of his 90 pitches for strikes, walked two, struck out five and yielded five hits.
• Mets No. 28 prospect Corey Oswalt hasn't given up an earned run in three of his past four starts after throwing 6 2/3 scoreless innings for Double-A Binghamton. The 23-year-old, who hasn't allowed a run in his past 18 innings, gave up eight hits but struck out five and threw 70 of his 106 pitches for strikes.
