Brewers reveal new Sunday jersey, cap

MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers are blending their present with their past for a new look on Sundays this season.
The club Tuesday unveiled a new alternate jersey it will wear most Sundays in 2016. It uses the current primary color -- navy -- with a retro yellow accent. The "Milwaukee" script across the front comes from the current road uniforms, while the iconic ball and glove logo featured on the sleeve and cap comes from the Brewers' past.

The Brewers have utilized the ball and glove logo in recent seasons, but this marks the first time it has been presented in the more modern navy blue.
The new uniform is replacing the Brewers' navy blue road alternate jersey, as well as the "gold" jerseys occasionally worn in recent years. It joins a rotation that includes the team's home white, road gray, home blue and white pinstriped retro uniforms.
Players and coaches will don the new look during Sunday's Brewers On Deck event at Milwaukee's downtown convention center. It will be for sale at Brewers.com soon.
