Cardinals cancel Caravan stops for Friday, Saturday

ST. LOUIS -- Forecasts predicting a winter storm and icy conditions around the region prompted the Cardinals to cancel all of their scheduled Caravan stops for Friday and Saturday.
The organization announced the cancellation of the 14 stops on Thursday evening, less than 24 hours before freezing rain is expected to move into the St. Louis area. For now, the Cardinals do plan on fulfilling their Caravan plans on Sunday and Monday. If that changes, the club will make an additional announcement.
The Cardinals' Caravan was supposed to cover 21 cities across six states over a four-day span. The Cardinals will no longer visit the following sites: Hannibal, Mo.; Jefferson City, Mo.; Columbia, Mo.; Fulton, Mo.; Springfield, Mo.; Joplin, Mo.; Rolla, Mo.; Memphis, Tenn.; Jonesboro, Ark.; Dyersburg, Tenn.; Champaign, Ill.; Peoria, Ill.; and Quincy, Ill.
