Cards bring back navy caps for remaining road games
Cardinals fans will get to see their Redbirds sporting blue in all road games once again.
The club announced Tuesday that it is going back to using navy blue caps as its primary road cap, beginning with this weekend’s rivalry series against the Cubs at Wrigley Field.
The navy blue cap was a part of the Cardinals’ primary road uniform from 1992-2012. After that, the Cards then began wearing red caps on the road and broke out the navy blues for two specific occasions: Sunday home games, and road games against teams with red-dominant unis.
Now, St. Louis will be wearing navy blue caps on the road, no matter the opponent, for the rest of 2026.
