Colt Emerson is picking up RBIs in droves right now.

On Wednesday, the Mariners' top prospect and No. 6 overall in MLB tied a career high by driving in four runs during Triple-A Tacoma's win over Sugar Land at Cheney Stadium. Emerson picked up two RBIs in the first inning when he slugged a cutter into the trees beyond the right-field fence for a home run. He had a two-run single that broke the game open in the eighth.

Seattle's shortstop of the future had previously registered four RBIs in a game twice: May 15, 2025, at High-A and Aug. 4, 2023, at Rookie ball in his first game as a pro.

Emerson has 15 RBIs across 11 games in May, giving him 25 RBIs in 35 games this season. He's also batting .300 this month with three home runs and a .520 slugging percentage. Even more encouraging is that the 2023 first-round Draft pick, who has an elevated 26.3% strikeout rate, has not struck out in his past 16 at-bats, dating back to May 9.

On the year at Triple-A, Emerson is slashing .257/.342/.478 with 15 extra-base hits, seven home runs and nine stolen bases in 35 games.
