Rain washes away Cubs-Reds finale

CINCINNATI -- Thursday’s series finale between the Reds and Cubs was postponed because of rain. A makeup date has not yet been announced.

Luis Castillo was slated to start opposite the Cubs’ Yu Darvish.

Cincinnati is scheduled to open a three-game series vs. the Tigers in Detroit on Friday. Castillo will take the hill for the opener, followed by Trevor Bauer on Saturday and Anthony DeSclafani for Sunday.
