Cubs, Twins look to clinch on MLB.TV

The Cubs and Twins could be the next teams to punch their tickets to the postseason today, and fans can follow all the drama live on MLB.TV.
The Cubs can clinch the National League Central with a win over the contending Cardinals or a Brewers loss to the Reds.
The Twins can clinch the second American League Wild Card with a win over the AL Central champion Indians or an Angels loss to the White Sox.
The Rockies have a day game, and they will look to move one step closer to clinching the second NL Wild Card berth when they host the Marlins in the rubber match of a three-game series at Coors Field.

Cubs go for division clinch: CHC@STL, 7:08 p.m.
The Cubs can win the NL Central for the second straight season. The Cardinals are still in the hunt for a postseason berth, and they trail the Rockies by 2 1/2 games for the second NL Wild Card.
The Cubs turn to John Lackey as they look to return to the postseason for a third straight season. The last time the Cubs went to the postseason in three straight years was 1906-08.
Michael Wacha will take the mound for the Cards, who hit four home runs and held on to win, 8-7, Tuesday night to improve to 4-4 against the Cubs at Busch Stadium this season.

Twins eye Wild Card berth: MIN@CLE, 7:10 p.m.
Minnesota is looking to return to the postseason for the first time since 2010.
Adalberto Mejía gets the ball for the Twins, who have never been to the playoffs as a Wild Card. The Twins are also trying to become the first team ever to reach the postseason after losing 100 games the previous season. The Twins lost an MLB-high 103 games in 2016, which was the club's highest total since moving to Minnesota prior to the 1961 season.
Danny Salazar toes the rubber for the Indians, who are trying to hold off the Astros for the best record in the AL. Cleveland is a game ahead of Houston, and the Tribe holds the tiebreaker by virtue of winning the season series against the Astros.
