Cy Young winner Kershaw to sign for LMC

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Legends Memorabilia Collection (LMC) is pleased to announce that it has signed Clayton Kershaw, 2011 National League Cy Young Award Winner and Dodgers ace, to an exclusive memorabilia arrangement.
Kershaw is the fifth current MLB player to sign exclusively for LMC, the memorabilia division of Major League Alumni Marketing (MLAM), the for-profit subsidiary of the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA). Josh Hamilton, 2010 American League Most Valuable Player, Neftali Feliz, Mark Buehrle and Dallas Braden have also signed exclusively for LMC.
"In only his fourth year in the Major Leagues, Kershaw has shown that beyond being one of the best pitchers in the league, he has a passion for charity work," said Matt Hazzard, director of memorabilia for LMC. "MLAM is proud to add him to our roster of exclusive clients. Whether through his own charitable challenge, Hope's Home, to build an orphanage in Africa or attending the MLBPAA's Legends for Youth Clinics, he fully embodies the mission of our organization."
Kerahaw also won the National League pitching triple crown, leading the league in wins (21), strikeouts (248) and ERA (2.28). He was named to his first All-Star team and won his first Gold Glove in 2011. Drafted seventh overall in the 2006 MLB First-Year Player Draft, Kershaw has 47 career wins and a 2.88 ERA in only four years of Major League service.
LMC will offer numerous products such as autographed baseballs, photographs and jerseys available for purchase. Please call Billy Horn at (719) 475-1847 or email bhorn@mlbpaa.com. Business-to-business sales are also available.
