Kendrys Morales: The slugger has long fared best vs. right-handers, against whom he has a lifetime .805 OPS (.742 vs. lefties). Morales could rip a round-tripper or drive in multiple runs when he tangles with the homer-prone righty Gonzalez (career 4.70 FIP, 1.30 WHIP) at Chicago's hitter-friendly venue.
Odubel Herrera: Herrera has logged a lifetime .820 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .725 mark vs. lefties. The second-year outfielder could reach base often when he faces Braves righty Williams Perez, who in his career has allowed left-handed hitters such as Herrera to post an .861 OPS (.705 OPS allowed to righty batters). He could also swipe a base against A.J. Pierzynski, who has allowed more steals than all but four catchers in 2016.
Ryan Howard: With eight homers across 113 at-bats this season, the left-handed-hitting first baseman is a candidate to rip a round-tripper when he bats at his hitter-friendly home park against the right-handed Perez (career 4.78 ERA, 1.50 WHIP). In his career, Howard has posted a .932 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .713 mark vs. lefties.
David Ortiz: Much of Ortiz's impressive career resume can be traced to his lofty lifetime .293/.397/.581 slash line against right-handers. The slugger -- who has posted an overall 1.044 OPS this season -- could post a difference-making DraftKings total when he faces Indians righty Trevor Bauer (career 4.44 ERA, 1.37 WHIP).
Travis Shaw: In Boston's powerful lineup (2nd in MLB with .845 OPS vs. righties), the third baseman will have a great chance to improve his lifetime .294/.370/.504 slash line against right-handers when he faces Bauer.
Josh Donaldson: With 50 homers, 144 RBIs and 157 runs since joining the Blue Jays at the outset of 2015, the third baseman is one of baseball's most productive hitters. On Saturday, Donaldson could post a notable DraftKings total when he faces Twins left-hander Pat Dean, who will be making his first career start.
Troy Tulowitzki: Hitting .196 this season, the shortstop could have a reduced price tag in DraftKings contests when he brings his lifetime .941 OPS against left-handers (.845 vs. righties) into a matchup with the inexperienced southpaw Dean. Also working in Tulowitzki's favor: The Twins rank last in baseball with a .666 defensive efficiency ratio.
Chris Iannetta: The catcher could excel when he vacates his offense-suppressing home park and faces southpaw John Lamb (career 5.80 ERA, 1.59 WHIP) at hitter-friendly Great Amercian Ball Park. In his career, Iannetta has registered an .870 OPS against left-handers in comparison to a .708 mark vs. righties.
Franklin Gutierrez: The outfielder has produced pronounced career splits, with an .833 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .654 mark vs. righties. Gutierrez could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he faces the southpaw Lamb and a Reds relief corps that ranks last in baseball with a 6.48 ERA.
Addison Russell: The second-year shortstop has registered notable career splits, with a .756 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .565 mark vs. lefties. Russell could provide production at a premium position when he faces the right-handed Cain (5.82 ERA, 1.49 WHIP since the outset of 2015). Also of note: Russell will put balls into play against a Giants squad that ranks 27th in the Majors with a .674 defensive efficiency ratio.
Chris Davis: Since the outset of 2013, the first baseman has used a patient, powerful approach to post a .262/.373/.588 slash line against right-handers. Davis is a prime candidate to rip a round-tripper when he faces Angels homer-prone righty Matt Shoemaker, who owns a lifetime 1.3 HR/9 rate -- including a 1.7 HR/9 mark since the outset of 2015.
Kevin Gausman: With a 3.00 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP, the right-hander is showing signs of a breakout this season. Gausman could have a stellar start when he vacates his offense-inducing home park and works at pitcher-friendly Angel Stadium against a lineup that ranks 18th in the Majors with a .712 OPS against righties.
Felix Hernandez: The ace right-hander (2.47 ERA in 2016) will be in position to post an impactful total in DraftKings contests when gets a break from facing deep American League lineups and visits the National League to face a Reds squad that ranks 27th in the Majors with a .672 OPS against righties.
Masahiro Tanaka: With a 3.21 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in his career, the right-hander has the skills to compile six-plus effective innings when he takes the hill at pitcher-friendly Oakland Coliseum against an A's lineup that ranks 25th in baseball with a .693 OPS against righties.
Adam Morgan: Despite a lifetime 4.85 ERA, the left-hander could be a serviceable second starter in DraftKings contests when he faces a Braves lineup that ranks last in the Majors in OPS against lefties (.562) and total home runs (15). Also of note: Atlanta ranks last in the NL with a 10-30 record.
