Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.
The players listed below are in position to provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Wednesday.
Matt Carpenter: Eligible at second base and third base, Carpenter could enter DraftKings lineups in multiple ways when he brings his lifetime 140 wRC+ against right-handers (116 vs. lefties) into a matchup at hitter-friendly Coors Field against rookie righty Germán Márquez (5.06 ERA, 1.88 WHIP).
:: Fred Zinkie's Daily Picks ::
Brandon Moss: The outfielder has long fared best vs. right-handers, against whom he owns a lifetime .232 ISO (.155 vs. lefties). Moss could rip his 28th round-tripper of the season or drive in multiple runs when he tangles with the inexperienced righty Marquez (5 1/3 innings) and a Rockies relief corps that ranks 29th in the Majors with a 5.03 ERA.
Matt Adams: The first baseman owns notable lifetime splits, with a .348 wOBA against right-handers in comparison to a .253 mark vs. lefties. Adams will be in prime position to display his power or reach base often when he bats at Colorado's offense-inducing venue against the rookie righty Marquez and a Rockies squad that ranks 28th in baseball with a .672 defensive efficiency ratio.

Mitch Moreland: As a big leaguer, the first baseman has produced a .202 ISO against right-handers that exceeds his .139 mark vs. lefties. Moreland could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he bats at his hitter-friendly home park against Angels fly-ball-prone righty Jered Weaver (5.17 ERA, 1.9 HR/9 rate in 2016).
Nomar Mazara: The second-year outfielder will be in prime position to improve on his solid .805 OPS against right-handers (.557 vs. lefties) when he tangles with the right-handed Weaver (1.50 WHIP in 2016) and an Angels bullpen that is working without injured anchors Huston Street and Cam Bedrosian.
Jean Segura: Hitting .319 with 91 runs and 30 steals across 646 plate appearances, the second baseman has been one of the most productive players at his premium position this season. Segura has the plate skills to thrive against Padres rookie righty Luis Perdomo (5.68 ERA, 1.63 WHIP) and the speed to swipe a base against catcher Derek Norris, who has allowed more steals than any other catcher in 2016.
Jake Lamb: In his breakout 2016 season, the third baseman has registered a .907 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .658 mark vs. lefties. Lamb could add to his impressive 2016 totals of 28 homers and 88 RBIs across 487 at-bats when he faces the right-handed Perdomo (4.56 FIP) and a Padres bullpen that ranks 24th in baseball with a 4.22 ERA.
Anthony Rizzo: From the heart of a lineup that ranks third in baseball with 740 runs scored, the first baseman could add to his impressive 2016 totals of 31 homers and 101 RBIs across 542 at-bats when he takes his lifetime .876 OPS against right-handers (.774 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Reds rookie righty Robert Stephenson (4.97 ERA, 1.38 WHIP).
Addison Russell: The second-year shortstop will be in great position to improve on his lifetime 98 wRC+ against right-handers (83 vs. lefties) when he faces the inexperienced righty Stephenson (6.24 FIP) and a Reds relief corps that ranks 28th in the Majors with a 4.98 ERA.

Jason Heyward: Hitting .230 with seven homers across 499 at-bats this season, the outfielder could have a reasonable price tag in DraftKings contests when he brings his solid lifetime .809 OPS against right-handers (.652 vs. lefties) into a matchup with the rookie righty Stephenson and an unreliable Reds bullpen. Heyward could also swipe a base against Tucker Barnhart, who has allowed more steals than all but two catchers in 2016.
Miguel Cabrera: The first baseman could hit his 34th homer of the season or drive in multiple runs when he brings his lofty lifetime .321/.389/.561 slash line against right-handers into a matchup with rookie righty José Berríos (8.88 ERA, 1.99 WHIP) and a Twins bullpen that ranks 26th in baseball with a 4.54 ERA.
Gregory Polanco: Having produced 22 homers, 85 RBIs and 13 steals across 557 plate appearances this season, the outfielder has the skills to contribute in multiple ways when he brings his lifetime 109 wRC+ against right-handers (64 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Brewers righty Jimmy Nelson (4.42 ERA, 1.51 WHIP in 2016). In his career, Nelson has allowed left-handed hitters such as Polanco to post an .822 OPS (.679 OPS allowed to righty batters).
Collin McHugh: DraftKings participants who looked beyond the right-hander's season-long 4.66 ERA will notice that he has produced a 2.42 mark across his past four starts. McHugh could compile six-plus effective innings when he works at pitcher-friendly Oakland Coliseum against an A's lineup that ranks 27th in baseball with a .707 OPS against righties.

Corey Kluber: With a 3.12 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP, the right-hander is putting the finishing touches on another dominant season. Kluber has the skills to spin a gem when he works at home against a Royals lineup that ranks last in the Majors with a .129 ISO vs. righties.
Max Scherzer: Having posted a 2.90 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP and a 10.6 K/9 rate since the outset of 2013, the right-hander ranks among the most consistent and effective pitchers in baseball. Scherzer could post a substantial DraftKings total when he faces a Marlins lineup that ranks 29th in the Majors with a .131 ISO against righties.
Chris Sale: With a 3.03 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP this season, the left-hander has the skills to deliver a stellar start when he gets a break from facing deep American League offenses and tangles with a Phillies lineup that ranks 29th in the Majors with a .111 OPS against southpaws.
Zack Greinke: Having produced a 4.42 ERA this season, the normally reliable right-hander could have a reduced price tag in DraftKings contests when he vacates his hitter-friendly home venue and works at Petco Park against a Padres lineup that ranks last in the Majors with a .675 OPS against righties.
All statistics are accurate through the completion of Monday's games.
