Pipeline preview: Duplantier aims to extend scoreless streak

Here's a look at top prospects to watch in today's Minor League action:
Hitter to watch: Paul DeJong (Cardinals' No. 11), Memphis at Omaha (7:35 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
DeJong hit his fifth home run on Monday afternoon, the same day he was named to MLBPipeline.com's Prospect Team of the Week. The 23-year-old shortstop, after hitting a pair of homers on Sunday, now has homered four times in his past six games for Triple-A Memphis. For the season, DeJong is batting .301/.326/.556 through 24 games.

Pitcher to watch: Jon Duplantier (D-backs' No. 8), Kane County at South Bend (7:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Duplantier was bumped to Tuesday after his scheduled start for Class A Kane County on Saturday was rained out. The 22-year-old enters the day having thrown 20 1/3 scoreless innings across three starts (four appearances) to begin the season. He's held opposing hitters to just eight hits and a .121 average in that span, while compiling 28 strikeouts against just four walks. He'll square off against South Bend, which will send left-hander Jose Paulino (Cubs' No. 14) to the hill.

Duel of the day: Brandon Woodruff (Brewers' No. 8) vs. Trevor Oaks (Dodgers' No. 17), Colorado Springs at Oklahoma City (8:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Woodruff did nothing but win during the season's first month, going 4-0 with a 1.61 in his four starts for Triple-A Colorado Springs. The 24-year-old right-hander has held opposing hitters to a .200 average, with 17 strikeouts and six walks in 22 1/3 innings.

Oaks, also 24, has yet to record a win in 2017 despite posting a 1.89 ERA with 21 strikeouts and five walks in four starts totaling 19 innings for Oklahoma City. The right-hander has gone 5-2 with a 2.74 ERA.
