D-backs shift rotation for matchup purposes

PHOENIX -- The D-backs will again slightly tweak their rotation, bumping left-hander Robbie Ray from Monday to Sunday and sliding Zack Godley back from Sunday to Monday.
It is the second time the pair have been flipped for what manager Torey Lovullo says are for matchup purposes.
Lovullo has declined to be specific about the matchups, but the last switch had Ray facing the Dodgers and Godley pitching against the Giants. The D-backs won both games.
By flipping the pair this time, Godley will face the Rockies rather than the Braves, while Ray will get the Braves rather than Rockies.
Speaking of Godley
Godley was placed on paternity leave as his wife prepared to give birth to the couple's first child.
That move allowed the D-backs to call up right-hander Matt Andriese from Class A Advanced Visalia, where he was sent less than 10 days ago to be used in a starting role so he could pitch multiple innings if needed in the big leagues down the stretch.
Infielder Ildemaro Vargas was also recalled from Triple-A Reno prior to Tuesday night's game.
Dyson to see doctor
It appears outfielder Jarrod Dyson might be nearing a return after missing the past two months with a right groin strain.
Dyson played in a pair of rehab games over the weekend and experienced some discomfort Sunday, so the team wants to be cautious and have him examined again by doctors.
