Prospect Diaz among Dodgers' spring invites

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers have invited 22 non-roster players to Spring Training, which begins when pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 12.

The list includes eight players who rank among the top 30 prospects in the Dodgers' farm system, according to MLB Pipeline: Diaz (No. 5), Ruiz (No. 6), Smith (No. 8), Rios (No. 15), Peters (No. 16), Jackson (No. 17), Beaty (No. 29) and Peter (No. 30).
A notable inclusion is Venditte, a switch-pitcher.
