Chase Utley, who had the game-winning RBI single in Game 4 of the NLDS, will lead things off and play second base for the Dodgers, while shortstop Corey Seager, who has two home runs in the series, will bat second. He's followed by third baseman Justin Turner and Adrián González batting cleanup and playing first base.
Josh Reddick, gets the start in right field and is batting fifth, while Joc Pederson is in center field and batting sixth. Yasmani Grandal will be behind the plate and in the No. 7 spot and rookie Andrew Toles, who is 1-for-7 in the series, is in left field and hitting eighth.
Max Scherzer, who's calling it "the biggest start of my career," is making his 14th career postseason start. He allowed four runs in six innings in a Game 1 loss.
Trea Turner will be in center field and hit leadoff for the Nationals, followed by Bryce Harper in right field and Jayson Werth, who is 7-for-15 with a home run and three RBIs in the series, in left field. Daniel Murphy, who is 6-for-13 with six RBIs, will be at second and hitting cleanup, while Anthony Rendon is at third and batting in the No. 5 spot. He's followed by Ryan Zimmerman at first base and Danny Espinosa at shortstop.
The Nationals will have Jose Lobaton behind the plate and in the eighth spot. Lobaton is 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBIs in his career against Hill.
"He's had some success against Hill, and also, you know, he's caught Scherz quite a few times, and that's what goes into that decision," said Nationals manager Dusty Baker on the decision to go with him over Pedro Severino.
