Dodgers offer contracts to eight players

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers on Friday tendered contracts to all eight of their arbitration-eligible players.
Those players and their 2017 salaries: Yasmani Grandal, $5.5 million; Alex Wood, $2.8 million; Luis Avilán, $1.5 million; Josh Fields, $1.05 million; Tony Cingrani, $618,306; Kiké Hernández, $555,000; Pedro Báez, $550,000; Joc Pederson, $502,442.

All eight players can have their salaries determined through the arbitration process if they first can't negotiate an agreement with the club.
Earlier on Friday, the Dodgers reached a one-year agreement with right-handed reliever Yimi García, who missed last season after having Tommy John surgery. Garcia, who earned $550,000 in 2017, has a 3.12 ERA in 76 games from 2014-16..
