TOKYO -- In 2023, Daddy Yankee -- along with producers Play-N-Skillz -- released the World Baseball Classic anthem, "Chispa." This year, the tournament couldn't be captured in one song, but three. It's the first time that the World Baseball Classic has released a full soundtrack album. Not only that, but the three-song release features multilingual tracks in Japanese, Korean, Spanish and English -- reflecting the truly global nature of the Classic.

Produced by two-time Grammy Award winner Tainy, the album is led by the official anthem "Make it Count," featuring Becky G, South Korean singer YEONJUN and Myke Towers.

The next track is "MVP" by Puerto Rican artist Young Miko, while Japanese genre-bending artist Fujii Kaze performs “My Place."

"The World Baseball Classic is a special celebration of national pride and elite competition that resonates far beyond the diamond,” said Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB's chief marketing officer and senior vice president, global corporate partnerships. “By collaborating with a visionary like Tainy to produce our first-ever original soundtrack, we are leaning into the intersection of sports and music to connect with fans on a deeper cultural level.

"Bringing together the influence of these talented musical artists from around the world allows us to amplify the energy of the tournament and showcase the vibrant spirit that defines modern baseball.”

The album is available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music and wherever music is sold.
