NEW YORK -- As the Yankees continue to seek a conclusive diagnosis regarding Aaron Judge’s ailing rib cage and shoulder, Jasson Domínguez and Giancarlo Stanton are making positive strides in their respective efforts to return to the lineup.

Domínguez and Stanton both participated in live batting practice at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday, facing right-hander Angel Chivilli.

Out since sustaining a left AC joint sprain while making a stellar defensive play against the left-field wall on May 7, Domínguez is scheduled to play in Minor League rehab games on Friday and Sunday, according to manager Aaron Boone.

Domínguez’s rehab assignment will likely continue for a few more games past that, Boone said.

Stanton has been out since April 24 with a right calf strain, though he has continued hitting indoors throughout that time. Stanton is scheduled to face Chivilli in live batting practice again on Saturday.

“I talked to G a lot about it yesterday,” Boone said. “He seems pleased with it. It seems like he’s bouncing back now after the first couple of days of being sore. I think we just want to stack some days of moving as much as he can.”

Though Stanton has been increasing his mobility over the past several weeks and may be able to bypass a Minor League rehab assignment, Boone said Stanton won’t accompany the team on its upcoming road trip to Cleveland and Toronto.

“I expect him to continue running and ramping up next week,” Boone said.
