Level smacks 2 home runs, 3 hits to continue breakout season

Jhonny Level just keeps hitting in his breakout season.
The Giants’ No. 3 prospect -- and MLB Pipeline’s No. 46 overall -- crushed a pair of home runs Friday, his third multi-homer outing of the season and his first since a June 2 promotion to High-A. He drove in four of Eugene’s five runs in a 5-3 win over Everett at Everett Memorial Stadium.
Level got things started in the first inning for Eugene, launching the ball to straightaway center field for a solo shot. After Everett answered with a run to knot things at 1 in the first, Level helped Eugene reclaim the lead in the third. He punched a high bouncer over a pulled-in infield with runners on second and third, with the one-out single scoring both runs.
Level provided insurance with his second long ball, another solo homer. He extended the lead to 5-3 with a deep drive to right-center field. His 13th and 14th homers of the season across two levels cleared his previous career-high of 12, set in 2025.

Level’s 3-for-4 game broke him out of a short slump, having been 0-for-12 in the series entering Friday. The 19-year-old, switch-hitting shortstop leads all Giants Minor Leaguers this season in hits (111), extra-base hits (47) and total bases (188), while he also ranks in the Top 5 in slugging percentage (.522) and OPS (.886).
