LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers have seven unsigned players eligible for salary arbitration as Friday's 5 p.m. PT contract tender deadline approaches.
This year's arbitration-eligibles and their 2016 salaries: Yasmani Grandal, $2.8 million; Luis Avilán, $1.39 million; Josh Fields, $900,000; Louis Coleman, $725,000 million; Vidal Nuño, $532,900; Alex Wood, $530,000; and Darin Ruf, $527,000.
Arbitration-eligible players who are tendered contracts can continue to negotiate with the club. If no settlement is reached, their salary will be determined through the arbitration process.
Last offseason, the Dodgers also had nine players eligible for arbitration. They tendered or signed eight of them and non-tendered reliever Juan Nicasio, making him a free agent. They also non-tendered reliever Lisalverto Bonilla, who wasn't eligible for arbitration, to clear a 40-man roster spot. The Dodgers later re-signed Bonilla.
