Bo Naylor taunts older brother Josh from first base in classic younger sibling move
Many baseball fans can relate to a younger sibling pestering them to no end. But having it happen during a Major League Baseball game? That’s next-level.
Guardians catcher Bo Naylor did just that with his older brother Josh Naylor last Friday.
Bo reached first base during the game at T-Mobile Park, with Josh manning the position defensively. Josh held Bo on before the pitch and shuffled to his defensive position thereafter. And Bo followed his every move.
Bo shuffled in stride for his leadoff as Josh moved to his positioning, and after each pitch, Bo walked back to the bag like a mirror image of his big bro. He even tapped Josh on the shoulder at one point, but Josh (like most older siblings probably would) ignored him.
Of course, Josh got the last laugh, as his Mariners won, 5-1. Bo had the better individual day, going 1-for-3 with a walk compared to Josh’s 0-4. In all, the teams split a four-game set over the weekend.
This is far from the first time these two have shared the field. They were teammates in Cleveland from 2022 to 2024 before Josh was traded to the Diamondbacks.
Now American League foes, we’ll grab our popcorn for a whole lot more of the sibling rivalry.
