Indians seek 15th straight win on MLB.TV

The holiday weekend continues today with another full schedule of Major League games, starting when the Indians put their franchise record 14-game win streak on the line in this afternoon's matchup with the Blue Jays.
Also today, Jake Arrieta pitches for the Cubs, Jose Fernandez starts for the Marlins, Chris Sale toes the rubber for the White Sox and Justin Verlander takes the mound for the Tigers.

Here's what to watch for today in the Majors (all times ET):
Indians seek 15th straight win: CLE@T0R, 1:07 p.m.
The Indians needed 19 innings to extend their winning streak to 14 games on Friday, and they will look to keep the magic going today. It's unclear who will start for the Tribe in place of scheduled starter Trevor Bauer, who earned the win Friday with five scoreless relief innings. Marco Estrada gets the ball for the Blue Jays. Estrada has won four of his last five decisions and has worked at least six innings in all but one of his 15 outings this season.
Stat that matters: Cleveland's current winning streak is the longest in the American League since Oakland reeled off 20 wins in a row during the 2002 season.

Sale faces Astros: CWS@HOU, 4:10 p.m.
Sale has won his last four starts and leads baseball with 13 wins entering today's start at Minute Maid Park. In addition to his win total, Sale ranks among the AL leaders in innings pitched (113), complete games (three), WHIP (0.98), ERA (2.79) and strikeouts (109).
Meanwhile, the Astros continue to be one of the hottest teams in baseball. Houston has won five straight series and went 18-8 in June. Doug Fister takes the mound for the Astros, who have won 10 of his last 11 starts.
Stat that matters: Sale's 13 wins are tied for the fourth-highest total in White Sox history before the All-Star break and also are tied for fourth-most by an AL pitcher since 1990.

Arrieta goes for Cubs: CHC@NYM, 7:15 p.m.
The Cubs are not playing their best baseball of the season and will look to turn things around with their ace on the hill. Arrieta leads the National League with 12 wins and Chicago is 13-3 with him on the mound this year. The reigning NL Cy Young Award winner, Arrieta will look to pitch deeper into this game after going five innings in each of his previous two outings.
The Mets will counter with veteran Bartolo Colon in this rematch of last year's NL Championship series, which New York swept. Colon is 2-2 with a 2.63 ERA in seven starts at Citi Field this season. Colon is winless in six regular season starts against the Cubs in his career. Colon did get the win in the NLCS clincher at Wrigley Field last October to help the Mets reach the World Series.
Stat that matters: Arrieta is 2-1 with a 1.82 ERA in five career regular-season starts against the Mets, winning both games as a member of the Cubs.
