Any time you break a club record previously held by Jackson Chourio, you’re doing something right.
Collecting his 90th RBI of the 2026 season on Wednesday, Jesús Made toppled Chourio’s record (89 in 2023) for most runs driven in during a season for Double-A Biloxi. Made grounded a ninth-inning single through the middle of the infield for the new high-water mark.
The Brewers’ top prospect and MLB Pipeline’s top prospect overall, Made also tripled in the seventh inning, finishing 2-for-5 with one RBI and a run scored. Biloxi ran away from Pensacola, 9-2, at Blue Wahoos Stadium behind 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball from starter Bishop Letson (MIL No. 8).
Made, still just 19 years old, has been the youngest in the Southern League for most of this season. Yet, the switch-hitting shortstop enters Thursday leading the circuit in runs scored (87) and sits second in hits (132).
After a quiet August, Made has gotten back on track this month as the season nears its end. He owns three multi-hit games in September on a .270/.345/.485 slash line, including four extra-base hits and eight RBIs.
