PITTSBURGH -- Pirates second baseman Josh Harrison lashed a double to right-center field in the sixth inning and while rounding first pulled up with a leg injury and eventually limped into second base in Saturday's night 8-7 loss vs. the Reds.
The Pirates said that Harrison left the game with right groin discomfort and is being evaluated.
The hit would drive in Jordy Mercer, who had singled and Adam Frazier, who was on base after being hit by a pitch. The two RBIs cut the Reds' lead to 7-6.
Harrison was tended to by trainers out at second base and walked off the field under his own power.
Pirates manager Clint Hurdle had no news on Harrison following the game.
