Right-hander Minaya called up for twin bill

The White Sox added right-handed pitcher Juan Minaya from Triple-A Charlotte to serve as the 26th man on the active roster for Saturday's split doubleheader at Kansas City.
Minaya, 27, is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA and eight strikeouts over six relief appearances with the Knights this season. He made Chicago's Opening Day roster, allowing three runs on two hits and five walks in one inning before being optioned to Charlotte on April 7.
Minaya, 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, made 40 appearances with the White Sox in 2017, going 3-2 with a 4.53 ERA and nine saves. He led American League rookies in saves.
