DENVER -- Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner doesn't get the defensive accolades heaped on Gold Glove winner Nolan Arenado of the Rockies, but Turner repeatedly makes deserving plays.
In the fifth inning of the Dodgers' 10-8 win in the nightcap of Wednesday's doubleheader against Colorado, left-handed hitter Gerardo Parra bounced a ball down the third-base line. Turner ranged far to backhand the ball and let loose across his body after crossing the foul line, his strong throwing just beating Parra to the bag.
The Rockies were leading the game, 6-2, heading into the sixth inning.
