ANAHEIM -- Another day, another Khris Davis homer.
The A's slugger has five in his last six games and 13 in his last 18 to bring his season total to 34, tied for second-most in the Majors with José Ramírez of the Indians. Davis' latest offering was a third-inning solo shot against lefty Tyler Skaggs in the A's 7-0 win over the Angels on Saturday night.
Only Boston's J.D. Martinez has more, picking up his 36th and 37th homers on Saturday.
Davis is seeking his third consecutive 40-plus homer season. Only one player in A's franchise history has accomplished the feat: Jimmie Foxx, who did it in 1932-34.
