To help you vote, MLB.com has selected a few players from the above list for a closer look. (All stats through games on Sept. 24.)
Riley Greene (DET)
Greene is the engine powering the Tigers' lineup, and being that Detroit's offensive strategy otherwise leans heavily on baserunning, they work pretty hard to make sure the table is set for him as often as possible. His teammates' success in that regard, plus his usual presence in the cleanup spot (he will, on occasion, hit fifth, but he's rarely moved out of the heart of the order, where those RBI opportunities really accumulate) has carried Greene to his first 30-HR, 100-RBI season in 2025 (35 HR, 110 RBI), and if the Tigers play deep into October, it's likely to have a lot to do with his production.
Cody Bellinger (NYY)
It feels unnatural to call anyone not named Aaron Judge the Yankees' real difference-maker, but in the second half, Bellinger is where a lot of their runs are coming from. He ranks among the top 10 in baseball with 43 post-break RBIs and is now right on the cusp of a 30-HR, 100-RBI season (which would be the second of his career and his first since 2019). Ironically it's the Yankees' commitment to hitting Judge second that makes Bellinger a solid pick -- anyone pitching around the former is often putting a man on for the latter.
Trea Turner (PHI)
Currently rehabbing a right hamstring strain, the Phillies are optimistic they'll have Turner back for the postseason, and you may want to start following his progress along with them. Turner was rolling at the time of his injury (which he sustained on Sept. 7), hitting .382 with a .585 SLG since Aug. 8 with seven doubles, three triples, four homers, and, critically, 23 RBIs.
Jackson Chourio (MIL)
For much of the Brewers' amazing summer, they were missing Chourio, who had to be placed on the injured list -- also with a right hamstring strain -- on Aug. 1. By the time he made it back, the run of invincibility had clearly ended, which accidentally resulted in Chourio's contributions being lost to (very recent) history. Before he got hurt, Chourio was hitting .367 with a 1.008 OPS in July -- that, granted, is not the hitter who came back, but that guy is very much in there and the Brewers still have the highest on-base percentage in the National League. A chance worth taking.
