Bryant belts first home run of 2018 season

MIAMI -- Kris Bryant launched his first home run of the season, and it was impressive.
The Cubs third baseman smacked a 1-2 fastball from the Marlins' Caleb Smith 426 feet to left with one out in the third inning on Friday for his second hit of the game. It was Bryant's 95th career home run, and he passes Dave Kingman for sole possession of 25th place on the Cubs' career home run list. Bryant doubled in the first inning as well.
Bryant, who belted 29 last season, is already ahead of his Spring Training pace. He hit one homer in Cactus League play.
