Margot, Torres lead Triple-A El Paso to win

Center fielder Manuel Margot was 3-for-5 with four RBIs, and left fielder Nick Torres hit two homers Sunday as Triple-A El Paso scored a 9-4 win in Albuquerque to reduce the Chihuahuas' magic number to four in the Pacific Coast League's Pacific Southern Division race.
The 71-64 Chihuahuas hold a 5 1/2-game lead on Albuquerque with eight games to play.
Right-hander Walker Lockett (1-1, 2.13 ERA) held the Isotopes to two runs on seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.
Elsewhere in the Padres' system Sunday, left-hander Joey Lucchesi, the Padres' fourth-round pick in the June Draft, allowed two hits with four strikeouts in four scoreless innings for short-season Class A Tri-City to lower his ERA to 1.35.
And Padres infielder Alexi Amarista was 0-for-1 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in his first rehab start with the Arizona Rookie League Padres.
Margot (.306 average) hit his 21st double and PCL-leading 12th triple.
Torres (.321) was 2-for-4 with his fifth and sixth homers since being promoted from Double-A San Antonio.
First baseman Diego Goris (.282) was 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Third baseman Nick Noonan (.312) was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Shortstop José Rondón (.306) was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Right-handed reliever Jason Jester (5.40 ERA) followed Lockett and struck out the only hitter he faced. Left-hander Ryan Buchter (18.00) allowed two runs on two hits and a walk with a strikeout in an inning.
Right-hander Phil Maton (0.00) struck out one in a perfect inning.
