DENVER -- Marlins third baseman Martín Prado exited Sunday's 10-7 win over the the Rockies after fouling a ball off a toe on his left foot in the sixth inning.
Prado was attended to by trainers before the decision was made to remove him and he walked gingerly to the dugout without assistance. Marlins manager Don Mattingly said there was no break and X-rays came back negative.
"We're hoping it's just sore and that tomorrow he'll be ready," Mattingly said. "A lot of times you see a guy bounce back right away and a lot of times you don't see a guy come out of the game."
