The Padres pulled off a stunning trade on Deadline day, acquiring Miller from the A's as well as left-handed starting pitcher JP Sears for a package of four prospects. The headliner going back to the Athletics is 18-year-old shortstop Leo De Vries, who is MLB Pipeline's No. 3 overall prospect. Right-handed pitchers Braden Nett, Henry Baez and Eduarniel Núñez are also going to the Athletics.
