Tuesday, Wednesday start times moved to 4 p.m. ET for D-backs vs. Mets

NEW YORK -- Due to cold temperatures and windy conditions forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday nights at Citi Field, the Mets have moved their start times against the Diamondbacks to 4:10 p.m. ET for each of those games. Thursday’s series finale remains unchanged.

The Mets and D-backs had been scheduled to play a trio of 7:10 p.m. ET games this week. But a cold front is expected to dip temperatures into the low 30s on Tuesday, precipitating the change.

Due to the late notice, the Mets are offering a limited number of complimentary tickets to both altered games. Those tickets are subject to availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans can log onto Mets.com/Tickets and enter code THANKYOU to claim up to four tickets per account, per game.

In addition, anyone currently holding a ticket for Tuesday or Wednesday’s game will receive a voucher for a ticket to any Monday through Thursday regular-season home game in April and May. The voucher will be loaded into each ticketholder’s My Mets Tickets account and will be accessible Tuesday morning.

All tickets for the originally scheduled 7:10 p.m. starts will be valid for the respective 4:10 p.m. games. Gates will open at 3:10 p.m. and parking lots will open at 2:40 p.m.

Right-handers Zac Gallen and Freddy Peralta are the probable starters for Tuesday's 4:10 p.m. ET series opener.
