Ryan Clifford had quite the day on Sunday.

The Mets' No. 3 prospect homered in both games of Triple-A Syracuse’s doubleheader against Buffalo. Clifford hit a Statcast-projected 351-foot home run in the sixth inning -- his ninth of the year -- in the opener, a 6-4 loss at NBT Bank Stadium. He also doubled and scored a pair of runs.

Mere hours later, Clifford went yard for his 10th homer of the season in the second game of the doubleheader. The 353 foot shot was the lone score of the game in a 1-0 victory. It was his only hit of the nightcap.

On the whole, Clifford has a .226/.305/.458 slash line with 10 home runs in 49 games this year.

The 22-year-old, who was acquired by the Mets in the 2023 trade that sent Justin Verlander to the Astros, has 84 home runs in four-plus Minor League seasons.
