Miami Marlins unveil throwback uniforms with teal jerseys to be worn on home Sundays during the 2026 season

MIAMI — The Miami Marlins today unveiled their throwback uniforms that will be worn on home Sundays during the 2026 season. The uniform is highlighted by the teal Marlins jersey that will be worn on field in a regular season game for the first time in Franchise history. This new look brings back the signature color that shaped the team’s early identity and connects the club’s history with the present as it pushes to the future

The throwback look brings back the signature color that defined the club’s early identity, honoring the franchise’s roots while connecting past, present, and future generations of Marlins baseball.

“This uniform is about celebrating where we have been while continuing to build on the excitement of where we are going,” said Alex Parker, Miami Marlins Chief Brand Officer. “Teal is more than a color in our history. It represents the moment fans first fell in love with Marlins baseball. This uniform connects that legacy with today’s team and today’s fan, uniting the Fightin’ Fish of the past and present as we push to the future.”

Designed to reflect both heritage and modern performance, the throwback uniforms feature several distinctive elements:

Fans can purchase Marlins teal jerseys and related throwback merchandise at the Marlins Team Store at loanDepot park, beginning on Opening Day, when the Marlins start the season under the lights on Friday, March 27 at 7:10 p.m. against the Colorado Rockies. The throwback uniforms will make their official on-field debut on Sunday, March 29, when the Marlins host the Rockies at 1:40 p.m.
