Get a peek at the uniforms teams will wear in the MiLB at Field of Dreams game

Minor League Baseball can be a time machine. At any given game, you're likely to see a glimpse of the future -- this is where tomorrow's MLB All-Stars are developing today. But Minor League Baseball can also take you into the past.

The St. Paul Saints and Iowa Cubs are ready to meet in the MiLB at Field of Dreams game at 6:30 p.m. CT on Aug. 11 among Dyersville, Iowa's iconic cornfields. On Friday, the clubs gave a glimpse of the throwback-style uniforms the prospects will don in the sweet nostalgia-evoking showdown.

The Saints -- Triple-A affiliate of the Twins -- will take the field as the visitors in glossy royal blue jerseys with white piping around the buttons and collar. "Saints" is arched across the chest in Western Serif white lettering. The grey cap features St. Paul's interlocking letters logo in blue and a blue brim. Grey pants are a quiet complement to the shiny jerseys.

The home-team I-Cubs are set to play in off-white unis with blue piping and "CUBS" printed across the jersey's chest in North Sider blue outlined in red. Triple-A Iowa's bear logo graces the right sleeve. The blue hat features "IOWA" spelled out in all-caps red letters.

This year's MiLB at Field of Dreams game, which will be televised on MLB Network, comes two days before the Phillies and the Twins square off in the MLB at Field of Dreams game. The new Minor League tradition began with the High-A Quad Cities River Bandits (KC) and Cedar Rapids Kernels (MIN) competing in the first MiLB at Field of Dreams game on Aug. 9, 2022.

These games are set to be played at the beautiful diamond purpose-built for the first MLB at Field of Dreams game between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees in 2021. The ballpark is, of course, inspired by and resembles the one in the 1989 "Field Of Dreams" film. The movie's ballfield is adjacent to the MLB field, and fans can have a catch there before following a corn path to the game.
