MLB Network to air extensive MLB All-Star coverage from Philadelphia beginning this Friday, July 10
July 7, 2026 – MLB Network is set to provide five straight days of comprehensive on-site coverage from Philadelphia, for the 96th edition of Major League Baseball’s All-Star Week, beginning this Friday, July 10. Programming highlights include the HBCU Swingman Classic, MLB Draft, All-Star Red-Carpet Show, MLB Media Day, the Emmy Award-nominated MLB Central, Intentional Talk and the Emmy Award-winning MLB Tonight.
MLB Network is covering its 17th Midsummer Classic in 2026, with live programming originating from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia throughout All-Star Week.
Friday, July 10:
HBCU Swingman Classic presented by USA Baseball at 7 p.m. ET:
- The fourth annual HBCU Swingman Classic presented by USA Baseball will showcase top baseball talent from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. New York Yankees radio broadcaster Dave Sims (play-by-play) and MLB Network analyst Harold Reynolds will call the game for the fourth consecutive year, while MLB legend Hank Aaron’s granddaughter and social content creator Emily Haydel will serve as reporter. Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. will provide insight from both Citizens Bank Park dugouts throughout the game alongside Haydel. Comedian and actor Roy Wood Jr. will serve as the in-stadium host as the MLB All-Star Week officially gets underway in Philadelphia.
Saturday, July 11:
MLB Draft presented by Nippon Express Starting at 2:30 p.m. ET:
- 2:30 p.m. ET, 2026 MLB Draft presented by Nippon Express – Greg Amsinger, Mark DeRosa, four-time MLB All-Star and Philadelphia Phillies World Series Champion Cole Hamels, former general manager Dan O’Dowd and Harold Reynolds will provide live coverage of picks 11 through 40 from the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Lance Brozdowski, Jim Callis, Carlos Collazo and Melanie Newman will also contribute on-site throughout the broadcast. Produced by MLB Network, the MLB Draft will begin on NBC and Peacock with coverage beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
- 4:30 p.m. ET, 2026 MLB Draft Round 2 presented by Nippon Express– Lance Brozdowski, Jim Callis, Carlos Collazo and Melanie Newman will continue draft coverage on MLB.com, covering picks from Round 2 with expert analysis and live reactions. Coverage will continue Sunday, July 12 for the 2026 MLB Draft Day 2.

- MLB Tonight hosted by Gregg Caserta and former All-Star Cliff Floyd, will recap the weekend in MLB and get viewers set for the next two days of All-Star activities.

- 11 a.m. ET, MLBx: All-Star 3-on-3 presented by Ito En – MLB Network will re-air the new fast-paced competition with Tyler Maun, Kait Maniscalco and Robert Flores on the call. The event is set to be a high-energy, co-ed competition that combines the excitement of power hitting with the athletic defensive play. The broadcast will debut on Peacock following the All-Star Futures Game this Sunday, July 12.
- 12 p.m. ET, Featuring baseball’s top Minor League prospects, MLB Network will re-air the 2026 All-Star Futures Game presented by Nike, with Melanie Newman (play-by-play), Yonder Alonso (analyst), Sam Dykstra (analyst) and Sande Charles (reporter) on the call from Citizens Bank Park. NBC and Peacock will broadcast the game live this Sunday, July 12 at 12 p.m. ET.
- 2 p.m. ET, MLB Central: All-Star Media Day – Mark DeRosa, Robert Flores and 2010 All-Star Chris Young are live from Citizens Bank Park as the All-Stars stop by the set.
- 5 p.m. ET, Intentional Talk – Working their fourth All-Star Game together, co-hosts two-time All-Star Ryan Dempster, Kevin Millar and Siera Santos set the stage for the T-Mobile Home Run Derby.
- 6 p.m. ET, MLB Tonight: National Pregame Show presented by T-Mobile– Greg Amsinger, two-time All-Star Harold Reynolds, three-time All-Star Dan Plesac and Chris Young prepare for the 2026 T-Mobile Home Run Derby. One of the MLB Network’s newest analysts, 2016 MLB All-Star Eric Hosmer, will work his first All-Star event for MLB Network, serving as a roving reporter throughout MLB Tonight.

- 12 p.m. ET, MLB Centralpresented by Mastercard – Mark DeRosa, Robert Flores and Lauren Shehadi will analyze the Home Run Derby and provide the key storylines surrounding the night ahead.
- 2 p.m. ET, MLB All-Star Red-Carpet Show presented by Mastercard– Greg Amsinger, Harold Reynolds and Lauren Shehadi will interact with all the 2026 All-Stars as they make their way to Citizens Bank Park dressed to impress. Robert Flores and Chris Young will complement the telecast with social-first content.
- 5 p.m. ET, Intentional Talk presented by Mastercard – Ryan Dempster, Kevin Millar and Siera Santos will entertain and inform from their set at Citizens Bank Park as the anticipation builds to first pitch.
- 6 p.m. ET, MLB Tonight: National Pregame Show presented by Mastercard – Greg Amsinger, Dan Plesac, 11-time All-Star Albert Pujols, Harold Reynolds and Chris Young will provide access inside the Midsummer Classic batting practice. MLB Network will also produce the World Feed of the All-Star game with Matt Vasgersian and Yonder Alonso on the call, delivering the game to 203 countries and territories across the globe.
- Immediately following the conclusion of the MLB All-Star Game, MLB Tonight with Greg Amsinger, Mark DeRosa, Kevin Millar and Dan Plesac will recap every big moment from the 96th Midsummer Classic and be joined by the stars from the game.
Programming highlights following the All-Star Game include “Plays of The First Half” on Wednesday, July 15 at 5:30 p.m. ET, followed by American Association of Professional Baseball All-Star Game at 8:30 p.m. ET. Adnan Virk, Yonder Alonso and Sean Casey will preview the second half with a special edition of MLB Tonight on Thursday, July 16 at 5 p.m. ET.
